Boy, the link party was SO MUCH FUN! Thanks to everyone who came out, linked up their posts, and gave the other bloggers some love. You’re awesome! I loved seeing everyone’s Halloween projects! It was a very successful party! I loved the mix of traditional and non-traditional projects for Halloween decor. While I loved everything that was linked up, there is a special place in my heart for DIY, so I couldn’t help but love these projects! These are AMAZING and fun projects that anyone can do. They are all super easy and simple. Some of them are very kid-friendly, too! You know I love that! Enjoy!
A Colorful Pumpkin
My friend Lacey over at Feathering My Nest created this amazingly colorful pumpkin with the help of crayons and a hairdryer! I can’t believe how easy it is! I’m definitely going to have to do some experiments with this method in the future. Don’t you just love it?
I would never think to transform a white pumpkin with crayons! It looks like so much fun, albeit a little messy. But who doesn’t love a little mess when you’re creating?!
A friend of Fiona Loves Organising created this Boo-tastic sign with some pre-made letters. She really transformed them to spice up her Halloween decor. It’s very easy to do an even easier to customize to your own tastes. It looked like a lot of fun to make and integrate different spooky items into the display.
The orange in the sign really pops! And although real spiders always send me in a frenzy, I love the creepy critters here!
Candy Corn Wreath
I have to admit, I may love the wreath from Laura at The No Pressure Life better than I love my own! Shhhh… Seriously, though. She talks about how mistakes can lead to something even better in a DIY project and I couldn’t agree more! Her wreath came out fabulously!
I just love the candy corn ribbon she used, and the pop of the pumpkin and yellow leaves over the black is really killer.
Boo-tiful Wood Plank Ghosts
These little ghost buddies are so cute and such a great use of some scrap wood you might have leftover from other projects! My friend Teresa from We Speak DIY did an amazing job transforming these scraps to boo-tiful wood plank ghosts!
Aren’t they adorable? Who can’t love those faces. They kind of remind me of the drama masks! Such a cute and easy project. Definitely something you can involve the kids in, too!
Candy Corn Bunting
Last, but not even close to least is this Candy Corn Bunting from my friend Randi at A Fresh-Squeezed Life. I have been OBSESSED with this adorable bunting ever since she posted it. It’s the cutest addition to your Halloween decor.
This is such a great way to get comfortable with sewing. Since you’re working in pieces, it’s a great way to practice your stitches. Plus, if you make a mistake on one, you should have plenty of fabric to create another part of the bunting. Seriously a great project to have some fun with!
