It’s Christmas Eve Eve. Have you finished your decorating yet? We’ve all been there — Panicking the night before the night before Christmas. Relatives are due to arrive. The house is a mess and in desperate need of festivity. You’re not alone. I understand your emergency decor needs. I’ve got tons of last minute DIY decor ideas for you to holiday your home in no time!
It’s the busiest time of year. Anthony and I are preparing to drive out to Pittsburgh to spend Christmas with my parents, my sister, her husband, my 3-month-old nephew Malachi, and their dogs. We are so excited to get some time with family. Since we live so far away from our families, any time we get with them is precious. It’s also our first Christmas living together after starting our life together here in Maryland, so we have a lot to celebrate. We wish we could be everywhere so we could see all our family this holiday season, but we are grateful for the love and joy we receive from everyone we won’t get to see.

A Time for Family
Just remember, the holidays (no matter what you celebrate) aren’t about decorations. They aren’t about presents. The holidays are about counting your blessings, spending time with the people you love, and giving back. So, as of tomorrow, I will be pretty quiet until we get back from Pittsburgh in a week. I’ll still be sharing some things on social media. However, other than that, I will be enjoying some precious time with my family, and diving into those Christmas cookies! Don’t worry, I’ll be back! Enjoy your holidays, hug your families and Merry Christmas!
