The weekly spread recently made its way into my bullet journal routine. I struggled to incorporate this particular spread into my planning routine at first because it seemed redundant with my monthly planner. That all changed this past month. Since I keep most of my events and appointments on my Google Calendar, my monthly spread evolved into a snapshot of moments. Kara from Boho Berry originally inspired this change when she described having a similar problem in one of her plan with me videos. This liberated me so that I could focus on trying new weekly spreads.
To find inspiration, I consulted my usual social media platforms: Instagram and Pinterest. These 10 weekly spreads inspired me and I hope they will do the same for you! They are in no particular order, so enjoy them all! I’d also love to see your favorite weekly spread inspirations! Please comment below or share with me on Instagram!
1. Study Inspiration
I cannot believe how beautiful this spread is. I came across this a couple days ago and knew I had to include it in this post. I absolutely love the cute little headers and inspirational quotes. You can’t help but be inspired by this spread. Every time I look at it, I smile!
2. Peaceful Pensive
The simplicity of this weekly spread I found truly peaceful. It’s beautifully put together and very purposeful in its minimalism. It breaks down tasks, events, and what’s coming up soon. This would be great for a beginner to try out a simple weekly. As inspiring as some of the other spreads I’m sharing are, they can intimidate a newbie.
3. Boho Berry
I couldn’t write a bullet journal post without sharing one of my favorite weekly spreads from Kara at Boho Berry. I stumbled upon bullet journaling on Pinterest after a friend of mine pinned one of her posts. I quickly discovered bullet journaling was everything I had ever been looking for in a planning system. Here is one of my favorite spreads, but Kara always posts beautiful spreads so it was difficult to choose just one.
4. Mind Your Time
This is another minimalist spread that I love. In fact, one of the things I love most is the “Weekly Review” part that is cut off to the left. I’m constantly searching for ways to reflect on how my system is working for me, so that appealed to me the most in this one. I also just love how straightforward and streamlined this spread is. It’s perfect for jotting things down on the run and checking in on what’s important.
5. Creative Place
This spread fills the space so well. The arrow header is adorable! I love how the boxes around each setting incorporate the headings directly into the lines, too. As a book lover, the reading log is something I intend to work into my next weekly set up!
6. Allison Leora
The lettering in this spread shows the expertise of its planner. They leave space for reflection on the week (huge fan!) and has a lot of little reminders built in. I did try the morning, afternoon, and evening aspect of this spread and it didn’t work for me personally, but I have seen a lot of other people succeed greatly with it! It just goes to show you how versatile the bullet journal is for its planner. If something doesn’t work, you aren’t stuck with that same system for a year, you can change it up the next week or the next month!
This colorful spread also made me smile so much I had to include it. The comments to the right tell the truth. This spread is beautifully done and even includes a sleep tracker! I also love the little emoticon mood trackers under each day. I’m not sure I could pull this off every week, but it is certainly amazing!
8. Alexandra Plans
9. Plan To Succeed
Can you say organization BLISS? I constantly go back to my screenshot of this spread for inspiration. It seriously looks like it was printed professionally, it is so neat and pretty! It also has many things I wish to incorporate into my weekly planning. I basically want to copy the entire bottom half of this spread!
10. Need Study Motivation
What a great example of how to beautifully incorporate a single color for a little pop in your weekly! I love the Albus Dumbledore quote, too! The useful expense tracker is a nice touch, too!
Well, I hope you have loved the weekly spreads that have inspired me in my bullet journal journey. I can’t wait to set up next week and incorporate some of the amazing pieces I’ve found here.
